Beth O’Neill, group commercial manager for Howard Tenens has been named as the FTA Multimodal Awards Young Logistics Professional of the Year 2017.
Beth was nominated for this award for her professionalism as she has shaped the commercial and marketing department for Howard Tenens, as well as being a key influencer within the solar logistics business and as an individual who continually exceeds expectations delivering high quality work within rapid timescales.
Following the announcement of winning the award Beth commented: “I’m excited and very proud to have been recognised for such an award. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Multimodal for their support, as well as the Team at Tenens who have aided and supported my development throughout my career with them so far. The last five years have been a whirlwind, and it looks set to continue!”
Beth joined Howard Tenens in 2012 as commercial and marketing assistant and has worked her way up to group commercial manager supporting both the logistics and commercial director’s and operational teams. Beth has developed into a true logistics professional and immersed herself within both customer satisfaction and operations.
Karl Hodgkinson, Group Commercial Director adds: “We were all really pleased to receive the news that Beth had been shortlisted for such a prestigious award and whilst I’m sure that everyone within Howard Tenens acknowledges how committed, passionate and professional Beth is, for this to be recognised by the wider industry, is a truly momentous achievement. This is equally a powerful statement about the wider business, indicating the calibre of individual the company appoints and develops in representing the face of Howard Tenens so to see both Beth’s and Howard Tenens name in lights during the award ceremony was fantastic. Once again, my congratulations to Beth on the award of Young Professional Logistics Person of the Year 2017, it well deserved and sets a standard for all colleagues within Howard Tenens.”
