Low-cost mezzanine lifts
June 26th 2006 Transdek UK has introduced a range of goods lifts designed for rapid installation with minimal disruption to provide access to mezzanine floors in warehouses, factories and self-storage units.
The lifts, which require no pits, are available in a wide range of platform lengths from 1000mm to 4000mm and are able to access second floors up to four metres high with a maximum load of 4500 kg. Power required is conventional 240V 16A or three-phase.
The lifts operate within free-standing steel mesh shafts which are bolted to walls and floor and require no civil engineering work. Gates are fully interlocked, with easy-to-use controls located at the lift station on each floor. Products on the lift platform are protected within a solid-sided lift capsule with locking gates.
The equipment carries the CE mark and is in full compliance with the LOLER and PUWER (1998) standards. A simple, streamlined design ensures minimal maintenance is required, and after-sales service is provided by a nationwide network of engineers available seven days a week.
