A second juicy role for Elettric 80 August 1st 2008 Lebedyansky, a natural
juice producer in Eastern
Europe has broadened its
relationship with Elettric
80 and ordered Freeway,
an end-of-line automation
solution, for its
production and storage
facility in Lebedyan,
Russia.
This follows the
installation of another
Freeway system in a plant
in Lebedyan in 2006. The
second implementation
will go live this summer.
Alexander Kobzev,
general manager at
Lebedyansky, explains
that the Lebedyan factory
needed to introduce
efficiencies and
streamline its four daily
shifts in order to reduce
storage, handling and
distribution costs.
He says "The Freeway
system will undoubtedly
help us to achieve this
objective as it will reduce
expenditure on
maintenance, improve
productivity and optimise
the floor space we have
available. Moreover,
based on our previous
experience, the
installation will be quick
and will have minimal
impact, if any, on our
production levels." More articles from Elettric 80 AB: |
