Boxing clever with refurbished unit January 1st 2010 Corrugated packaging manufacturer,
Durham Box, has extended its use of
Mosca equipment to four machines,
including a refurbished second-hand
model. The company originally
installed a Mosca ATRS squarerbundler
and Mosca RO-TRC strapper
in 2000.
When, following a major
modernisation of its factory in 2007,
four further strapping machines were
needed, so confident was Durham
Box in the capabilities of the ATRS
that they accepted a second-hand
model that had been returned to
Mosca during a part-exchange.
Before being supplied to Durham
Box, the squaring unit was fully
refurbished by Mosca engineers, and
a completely new sealing head and
arch system was built in to meet
modern line demands. This update
included the addition of Mosca direct
drive technology, which minimises
the number of moving parts for longterm
reliability and performance. More articles from Mosca Direct Ltd: |
