Carton handling with a twist
June 1st 2010 Since 2000 TGWhas been successfully
implementing its Twister load
handling technology for the fully
automated handling of cartons, plastic
totes and trays with a diverse range of
sizes and weights in shelving racks.
This load handling technology is
said to be particularly reliable due to
the form-locked handling of cartons
or totes by means of in-built
movable flaps. Even under difficult
operating conditions, such as uneven
loading, irregular carton quality or
low working temperatures, the
equipment performs consistently
and reliably.
The load handling devices are
capable of storing cartons up to
four-deep, whilst providing access to
each individual carton and ensuring
