Data collector deploys bluetooth
January 1st 2010

Said to be small and extremely lightweight, Opticon's OPN-2002 data collector is embedded with a class leading laser barcode scanner capable of 100 scans/sec.

Introduced by York-based mobile computing and data capture specialist distributor Varlink the device combines barcode data collection and Bluetooth capability for wireless connection and real-time communication.

With a memory of 1MB in batch mode, the OPN-2002 is capable of storing more than 25,000 barcodes.

The device enables storage of collected barcodes which can be transmitted by cable or Bluetooth.

IP42 rated, the OPN-2002 is rugged, durable and with a weight of less than 30 grams, is truly pocketable.

The OPN-2002 also allows for data to be downloaded through custom applications which can be developed utilising the free of charge SDK available.
