October 1st 2009 Elettric 80 is toasting its successful
demonstrations at drinktec 2009.
The firm demonstrated its palletising
robot Dragon for Beverage, which
allows the positioning of goods in
optimised patterns for stability,
leaving any empty spaces inside the
outer frame.
Elettric's energy efficient
automated reach truck transfered the
beverages to its Silkworm
stretchwrapping robot ,which, using
a 1000 mm roll, demonstrated its
material saving wrapping method
which achieves a pre-stretch of up to
400 per cent and prevents the film
edges from tearing, yet producing
extremely stable pallets.
These were eventually loaded into
a trailer, by the Laser Guided Vehicle
CB25, which belongs to Elettric 80's
new generation of counter balance
