Major order for swisslog
January 1st 2010 TINE BA, Norway's largest producer,
distributor and exporter of dairy
products, has commissioned
Swisslog to design and implement a
new distribution centre in Oslo,
Norway. The greenfield facility will be
integrated with existing production
plant located in Kalbakken/Oslo.
The site will feature two high-bay
warehouses, pallet conveyors, an
Order Release Module subsystem for
automated dispensing of 'blue trays', a
monorail system, and special pallets
to handle roller containers. Swisslog
will implement its own software
products and be responsible for the
controls as well as the realisation and
overall integration of the warehouse
