Lubricators to maximise working life
April 1st 2005

Fenco-Aldridge claims new generation of conveyor lubricators are the most reliable way of lubricating moving chains from a half inch pitch simplex to a 10” rollerless drag chain.

The new models feature a separate pump for each outlet to ensure consistent lubricant delivery. By maintaining optimum chain condition through continual lubrication, the automated DFL Lubricator minimises the potential for wear. Fully adjustable, the automatic lubricator ensures consistency of application however inaccessible the lubrication point or hazardous the environment.

The DFL units are suitable for a full range conveyors including overhead, camelbacks, single and twin-stranded floor conveyors along with 458 and 678 type chains.

Where chain pitch is over 2” (50mm), the lubricator works by firing a single droplet of oil to the lube point ensuring no contact between the chain and nozzle to eliminate the possibility damage. Fenco has also developed a range of alternative application techniques for faster moving chains.

The units have already been installed at Vauxhall, Nissan, Jaguar and Nestle, among others.
