Knapp reports record revenues

KNAPP has enjoyed a record year for
sales in 2010/2011, both at group
level and here in the UK. KNAPP AG
increased its turnover by 30%,
bumping up sales revenue to more
than €272 million. KNAPP UK also
had a record-breaking year, with
sales in excess of €50 million.
Success at group level
was attributed to KNAPP's
concentration on its core
competencies – principally
automation solutions for
the pharmaceutical, food
and non-food retail,
fashion and cosmetics
sectors – and the
continuous development of
its products.
In the UK, KNAPP secured major
orders from some of its existing
customers. These included an
extension to accommodate ecommerce
growth at John Lewis's
flagship distribution centre in Milton
