Better Power/Flex
October 1st 2008 Best Conveyors has added
design changes to its
Power/Flex line. The heavy
duty control housing is now
mounted on to a welded
shelf for maximum rigidity,
with a plug-in semiarmoured
extension cable
connection for easy
maintenance or replacement.
Improvements to the
cabinet include an improved
isolator solution and
improved earth bonding. A
PLR can be housed within
the control enclosure and
can be easily loaded or
modified via Eprom to meet
the customer's exact
handling
requirements.
Using under
roller photo cells
it is possible to
achieve options
including
electronic
package stop,
indexing, build
back and zero
line pressure
accumulation.
Power/Flex offers
maximum flexibility of
operation with adjustable
line speed from 0-36 metres
per minute. The continuous
duty multiple drive is
achieved utilising the new
generation of DC motors
that are very well suited to
this application, offering
advantages for control with
high torque operation at low
speeds. Power/Flex is now
also available with an
alternative AC motor option
to offer extended drive life
for lower torque
