Cargo loading systems upgrade

Harmsworth Quays Printing has recently benefited from Caljan Rite-Hites expertise in handling systems for loading and unloading cargo.

As part of a major refurbishment programme the company was looking for the most cost-effective way of up-grading the telescopic conveyors which feed the dispatch doors.

The solution to the problem was a consultation with Caljan, who recommended a comprehensive package to replace all mechanical and electrical components, which also ensured the machines complied with new Health and Safety requirements.

All the refurbishment work was carried out with the machines in situ to ensure the minimum amount of disruption to the dispatch procedure.
