Conveyor system handles increasing sales volumes
December 1st 2004

A custom built conveyor system has been installed at Boots e-commerce warehouse at Long Eaton in Derbyshire, by European Conveyor Systems, to help handle the increasing volume of sales though the companys www.wellbeing.com website.

The conveyor system links the product storage area, the packing benches and the final despatch area. Part of the system includes a powered accumulation section that allows completed orders to be held in a queue for strapping before despatch.
