Garment sorting & counting
February 1st 2006

In order to reduce the time taken counting or sorting garments, Stockrail International has developed counting systems for hanging garments. Both manual and automatic systems are available.

The manual system gives both a batch count and a total count.

The automatic system can be used as an induct system for counting garments or reading barcodes. When used for pre-allocation, garments for delivery can be separated from garments going into storage. Cross docking is also possible.

By increasing the number of outlet lanes, the system can also be used for the automatic sortation of garments, handling up to 6000 units per hour.
