High speed with smooth wheels
August 1st 2008 AMH has launched a new,
modular high speed,
pneumatically operated
switch sorter. The AMH
Sorter offers high speed bidirectional
(left/right) 45°
sortation of various products,
handling items as little as
200mm square at speeds of
up to 30 items per/min.
The compact design
requires minimal spacing
between conveyed products,
giving optimum space
utilisation and feeding of
close pitched lanes.
The AMH Sorter is suited
to high speed sortation
applications found in
distribution, mail order and
palletising applications.
The units are considered
to be energy efficient as they
do not require additional
drive units and can be slave
driven directly from any
existing main lineshaft
conveyor. Smooth rubber
sortation wheels provide an
'exceptionally quiet'
operation.
Pre-configured and
factory tested to ensure
simplicity of installation and
commissioning, the modular
switch sorter design enables
units to be easily
repositioned. Functional
intelligence can meet future
handling changes. AMH can

customised software to meet
