New cost saving products from Interroll April 1st 2004 In order to support new belt drive products, Interroll is strengthening its UK sales operation and doubling the size of its Northamptonshire centre for belt assembly, repair and after sales.
Over the last year, Interroll has acquired Axmann Fordertechnik and Axmann Conveying Systems, integrating a wealth of experience in supplying subsystems for unit load handling equipment. Products include curved and spiral units for conveyor belts; high speed, cross belt sortation conveyors; and conveyor modules for plastic manufacturing and process automation.
Among the new products available from the company is a 0.55kW belt drive the 113EE which is claimed to be the most powerful in its class. The 113C is a low noise version.
The company is also promoting its new pallet drive concept for zero pressure accumulation conveyors and a push-back system for pallet racking. Another new development is a wheel flow product that is claimed to cut the cost of pallet picking by 20%. More articles from Interroll Automation: |
