systems to complement its
conveyor installations,
following the acquisition of
Sandt-Logistik by Gebhardt
Fördertechnik.
Sandt-Logistik equipment
and systems were used on
the continent, providing
innovative design and highquality
construction. They are
now being manufactured by
Gebhardt and available in the
UK from ECS.
Automated storage-andretrieval
cranes are available
in a range of specifications
for handling trays, totes,
cartons and pallets at heights
up to 22m. Features include
rigid single-masts with high
load capacities, two-wheel
drive for fast acceleration,
low-friction bearings that
minimise noise, and highperformance
braided steel
hoist cables.
Handling devices are
offered to match lifts with
the size and weight of loads
and other factors such as
shelf depths, storage
