Online belt service boost
May 1st 2010 Habasit Rossi, has further developed
its online belt calculation service.
The company's suite of SeleCalc
programmes can be downloaded
from the Habasit Rossi website.
By inputting the technical
parameters of an application into the
software, customers can identify the
products that will maximise the
efficiency and performance of their
application.

Installed as an independent
module or integrated into the
product collating section of the case
packer, ProSelex is composed of a
servo-driven comb moving at high
speed on two axes to form batches of
products fed in continuously on a
conveyor.
Products are spaced out by servodriven
lateral bands, which can be
adjusted to suit the product shape
and resistance. For certain bottles,
spacing is done by servo-driven
selecting starwheels. ProSelex is said
to be a high-speed system with a
capacity of 250 products per minute.

The suite of SeleCalc software
includes Convey-SeleCalc for fabric
belt applications (HabaFLOW),
Link-SeleCalc for plastic modular

POWER-SeleCalc for power
transmission flat belt applications
