Stick to easy integration
August 1st 2010 In order to increase the output of its
machines, a manufacturer of folding
carton gluing machines turned to
partners Micromech Systems and
Parker for a solution. This came in
the form of furnishing a ready-tomount
linear motor module with
two parallel carriages and
harmonised drive technology –
simplifiying integration into the
machine and subsequently increasing
achievable output considerably.
In addition, the controller includes
a visualisation in the package, therefore
the servo drives are optimally
suited for linear motor technology.
Special control algorithms for linear
motors and jerk-limited acceleration
help optimise the response
behaviour, which in turn increases
