UPM has created a division specialising in product handling equipment incorporating box fillers, product counting by weight, conveying controlled via barcodes, and complete systems to transfer product through all stages of manufacture.

In a recent contract for Mann & Hummel (UK), UPM developed a system to co-ordinate injection moulded filter bases and lids from two machines for automatic assembly via a custom engineered belt conveyor system.
