Unstretchable belt in a box

Belt Technologies says it can now deliver a complete belt system in a box directly to customers’ doors.

Based on an aluminium or stainless steel machine frame, the customisable off-the-shelf package comes complete with motion control, tracking and tensioning components – and can be delivered with an unlimited length of conveyor belt.

Belts can be solid, perforated or plain stainless or carbon steel and are available with custom attachments, coatings or tooling nests. A fixed, adjustable or combination rail is provided and there is a choice of stand types.

The motor mount can be above, below or beside the conveyor frame. Achievable speeds can be varied and there is an optional autotrack system that monitors belt location continually to provide side-side belt positioning.

Timed belt and pulley features are also available.

According to Belt Technologies, the high precision manufacturing tolerances of the belt system are virtually unattainable with other belt materials.

The company claims its belts are virtually unstretchable.
