Zero pressure accumulation August 1st 2004 Some years ago construction fitting and automotive components stockist, Wrth UK awarded Keymas a contract to supply controls and integrate a materials handling system to improve the efficiency of its distribution chain. Since then the relationship has continued as the system has been enhanced to accommodate operational changes.
The latest development involves the addition of a zero accumulation conveyor line. Keymas has enhanced an existing lineshift by utilising its latest control circuitry for the control of 24V brushless motorised rollers. Each conveyor zone has one motorised roller and sensor, both of which are linked directly to the new generation logic control board, via quick connections. Each board is then plugged into the adjoining zone circuit board in order to communicate zone status and create zero pressure accumulation.
This decentralised system allows ease of conveyor design, as well as flexibility for extensions and modifications. More articles from Keymas Limited: |
