Flexigrid for safer bays
February 1st 2005

Loading bay safety and performance is dramatically improved by using heavy duty slipresistant matting. This is particularly important where dirt, rain and/or spillages and regular hosing down of the floor occur.

Flexigrid, from Plastic Extruders, is a flexible PVC matting with an open grid format which will drain away spillages. The deeply etched surface provides high slip resistance even in the wettest conditions, says the company, and is resistant to most acids, oils and industrial chemicals.

The matting will cushion against dropped items and is also comfortable underfoot � helping to reduce working fatigue.

Flexigrid will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and is easily cut and shaped to fit any space or around machines and benches. It is available in 60 and 91cm widths, either in 1.8m modules or in 5m and 10m long rolls. Samples available.
