Loading bay equipment made easy
February 1st 2005

Loading bay equipment supplied by Easilift Loading Systems has been chosen for a Ł4m distribution centre opened by Housing Units Ltd, a Manchester-based home furnishing retailer.

Three loading bays at the 52,000 ft2 warehouse have been equipped with made-to-measure Easilift electrically operated, fully insulated sectional overhead doors measuring 2750mm wide x 3000mm high.

Additionally, the bays utilise Easilift Model 403 collapsible frame dock shelters, Poweramp dock levellers, dock lights and LED traffic lights.

The Model 403 collapsible dock shelter completely seals vehicles during loading and unloading. Easilift says their robust construction ensures maximum resistance to wear caused by reversing vehicles and is resistant to the effects of weather at temperatures ranging from -35°C to 80°C.

The Poweramp 232 dock leveller is a fully hydraulic model with a swing/hinged type lip.

Available in a range of sizes, it is built to be long lasting with low maintenance requirements, according to Easilift.

Equipment in each bay is controlled from a single Easilift control panel.

Easilift also provided 15 level loading bay doors.
