key for Sara LBS as it continues to supply loading bay
equipment to a leading supermarket chain
Sara LBS has been chosen to install
a number of products from its
range of loading bay equipment
and industrial doors into a leading chain
of supermarkets across the UK.
Having previously worked with sara,
the company was confident that the
loading bay specialists would deliver high
quality products that had been designed
to their specifications.
A spokesman for the supermarket, says:

Examples of the equipment installed are
sara's scissor lifts, dock shelters and
sectional doors. Each is designed to provide
ease of use to keep the flow of operation
moving as well as offering protection
against the elements and ensuring
personnel safety.
The sara LBS scissor lift is a solution for
applications requiring load transfer
between different levels. All lifts are
designed to exceed safety requirements for
lifting tables and can be easily customised
by sara engineers to most requirements the
customer may have. Features such as the
safety trip edge – designed to detect
obstructions and stop the lift – and 'deadman'
fail safe prevent damage to the lift and
goods as well as ensuring safety for workers.
Dock shelters are not only important
for keeping personnel dry and
comfortable during loading and
unloading; they also protect goods from
potential harm from the elements as they
are transferred between vehicle and
warehouse and can provide insulation
that reduces a site's heating bills.
sara has a number of industrial doors of
varying specification that are suitable for a
host of different applications. The range
that best suited the company's needs was
the sara sectional door, a overhead-opening
insulated door that provides a high
standard of weather sealing. By using
double glazed vision panels and including
a pass door within the main door, the
