September 1st 2011 Food delivery specialists choose Olivo containers for delivery of frozen and chill products
Two food delivery specialists in Devon and Cornwall are
using Olivo insulated containers for delivery of frozen or
chilled products.Members of the Country Range group of
14 independent wholesale food suppliers who operate out of over
20 depots throughout the UK and Channel Islands, both
companies use the Olivo eutectic plates for refrigeration.
Paul Moore, operations manager at Ilfracombe Foodservice
says: "They do exactly the job we wanted them to do and
undoubtedly are the best bit of kit on the market to supplement
our multi-temperature fleet."
Chaffins Foodservice current customer base is in excess of 800
and they provide a daily or twice weekly service in Cornwall and
Devon including the Isles of Scilly. Both Andrew Brown, buyer,
and Mark Harvey, business support manager, confirmed that the
Olivo containers gave Chaffins considerably more flexibility in
handling multi-temperature deliveries.
Olivo portable insulated containers are manufactured near Lyons
in France and are the market leaders in equipment for the distribution
of temperature sensitive food and pharmaceutical products
without the need for costly and
