Ezy liquid transport
February 1st 2007 When Dairygold Food Ingredients wanted a convenient way to deliver its new liquid cheese product, Ezycheese, it approached Simons Reeve Rental about a fleet of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) that has FDA approval. Steve Parton of Simons Reeve Rental recommended the new 'Easifold 1000' – which as the name suggests, holds 1000 litres of liquid product. The 'Easifold 1000' is a 'next generation' IBC, designed principally for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Easily folded for ease of storage and return transport, the product is constructed from smooth food-grade standard plastic. It is easy to clean and has no areas for materials to become trapped. Dan Dairies uses the Easifold 1000 in conjunction with a special liner that has inlet and outlet caps for ease of filling and decanting.
