Contract drives forward
February 1st 2011

Honda UK has awarded a five-year contract extension to Liverpoolbased logistics specialist, Bibby Distribution.

What began as a small contract covering only the North of the UK in 2003, has seen Bibby become sole logistics provider for Honda's motorcycles and power equipment across the whole of the UK mainland. The latest agreement will see this continue until 2015.

Bibby offers a nominated next-day delivery service operating from Honda's principal warehouse in Swindon where truck-mounted forklifts are used, in conjunction with a dedicated fleet of 26t rigid vehicles and accompanying drawbar trailers, to fulfil the contract.
