Stoke-on-Trent based haulier, R G Bassett & Sons, has been appointed by leading protective packaging manufacturer Jiffy Packaging to provide a full logistics support operation, enabling Jiffy to offer an enhanced delivery service to its UK distributors.

As part of the new contract arrangements, the Jiffy name and livery have been applied to the rear doors of eight high cube trailers newly acquired by Bassetts, further raising the profile of the Jiffy brand.

The new service will ensure prompt and efficient supply of Jiffy products, including its padded bags, foam, air bubble film and protective mailers, and air cushion technology for packaging void fill systems.
