Fridge fleet for AsdaMarch 1st 2010
Asda has taken delivery of 150 refrigerated trailers from Schmitz Cargobull. The trailers, which have been built in the UK at Schmitz Cargobull's manufacturing plant in County Durham, will operate out of ASDA's regional distribution centres at Skelmersdale, Falkirk, Erith, Bedford, Lutterworth,Wakefield and Bristol and will deliver fresh food products to stores throughout the UK. The dual temperature trailers are fitted with Carrier fridges, rear opening doors and run on Schmitz Cargobull Rotos axles with disc brakes.
