Matting shows a lot of bottle
October 1st 2011 Osborne Motor Bodies, the UK's
largest manufacturer of milk delivery
vehicles, has installed Vynagrip
matting from Plastic Extruders in its
fleets of dairy vans.
The company, a specialist
manufacturer supplying and fitting
custom-made bodies to existing
vehicle chassis, needed a lining to
form a protective layer
between the cargo and the
aluminium floor of the van to
help prevent discolouration of
the shrink-wrapped goods.
Following different trials,
Vynagrip was found to be the
best solution, providing a
heavy-duty slip-resistant
surface with an attractive
colourful finish. In addition
to being quick and easy to lay,
it can also be easily removed and
replaced when the van is cleaned.
Vynagrip features a deeply etched
surface which grips and prevents
slipping and its open grid construction
allows for dissipation of any
