Robust weighing system chosen

weighing system from Avery Weigh-
Tronix will minimise truck
downtime according to one of
Scotland's largest hauliers, Yuill and
Dodds. The company operates a fleet
of more than 100 vehicles.
Working with body builders
Colledge Trailers, the company has
opted for the Avery Weigh-Tronix
system on eight new trucks.
Says Brian Yuill, managing
director of Yuill and Dodds: "We
have used on board weighing for
fourteen years to maximise the load
we can carry without overloading.
The idea is to maximise our
operating efficiency and remain
legal.
"We need a system that is robust
to minimise downtime and is also
generally fast and simple to
