£6m hub signal growth at TPN June 1st 2005 The Pallet Network’s new £6m hub means it can now recruit new members.
After a successful first quarter since its move from Leicester, TPN Chairman, Richard Eldred, says the company is now settled at the 224,000ft2 site. With the increased capacity, he says TPN is seeking new members that are keen to grow with the company.
However, Eldred is keen to point out that growth will be subject to strict regulation: “It will always be a policy of controlled growth – increasing throughput and profitability for both the hub and the members but without compromising on service.”TPN’s continued growth has seen it move three times in five years, and it is one of only two major pallet networks to have invested in a new hub. Eldred says this is down to TPN’s brand strength and the loyalty and commitment of its members.
“We see ourselves as a conduit through which members can grow their business. We don’t drive them to achieve minimum targets but encourage them to see and use the hub as their own. We want to create an environment for them to succeed – and they recognise that.” |
