Kidds go back to school June 1st 2009 Fifteen drivers at Lancasterbased
Kidds Transport have
successfully completed their
NVQ 2 in Driving Goods
Vehicles. The programme
was delivered through a
partnership between
Lancaster Training Services
and Lancaster and
Morecambe College.
The drivers received on the
job training and assessment
over several months before
achieving the NVQ 2. Due to
the success of the first in-take,
Kidds Transport is going to
train a further ten drivers in
the same way later this year.
Simon Park, principal of
Kidds Transport said: "I am
delighted that so many of our
drivers have been recognised
for the NVQ 2. The
qualifications will enhance
their professionalism and give
continued customer
confidence in the service we
offer."
Dave Jackson, the Assessor
from Lancaster Training
Services, added: "It was a
pleasure working with such
experienced and enthusiastic
drivers who were keen to
learn and improve their skills"
