Meacher’s slice of Asda action
June 1st 2005 Newport based Brace’s Bakery, has turned to Meachers Transport to support its new contract with Asda. Meachers, based in Southampton, is operating as a depot for Brace’s products and will undertake daily deliveries to Asda stores located along the South Coast from Weymouth to Portsmouth.
Meachers says won the contract through its ability to offer an excellent transport solution and a seamless operation. The deal involves an overnight bulk delivery of Brace’s products to Meachers depot at Nursling, Southampton and then onward deliveries by Meachers vehicles to the designated Asda stores.
