April 1st 2011 FP International has supplied office
products supplier, Staples Poland
with CELL-O EZ air cushions and
CELL-O EZ machines to protect
items packed in cardboard boxes
during distribution to customers. The
versatile air cushions can be adjusted
to exactly suit the various shapes of
products supplied by Staples.
Staples Poland chose the CELL-O
EZ to replace the use of loose fill in
order to increase productivity.
Producing the air cushions ondemand
is said to save time, cut
storage requirements and reduce
handling compared with bubble film
material or loose fill. As the packer is
preparing the carton, the air
cushions are blown up by the
machine; these can then be directly
