At September's Drinktec fair in Munich, Elettric 80 will build a complete, fully operational, end-ofline chain.

Different beer cans, bottles and trays from Elettric 80 clients will be handled from the end-of-productionline, palletised, stretch wrapped and transported by laser guided vehicles (LGVs) to the warehouse area and loaded into a trailer.

The displayed Freeway system will include the new specialised palletising robot Beverage Dragon, which handles cans, bottles and packages with extreme precision. Product changeover is made only through quick software adjustments. Its innovative construction also results in considerably shorter cleaning interruptions than those of traditional palletisers.

The system will also incorporate the Silkworm stretch wrapping robot, two LGVs, a single reach truck and a counterbalance truck.
