Royal approval for Easypack
June 1st 2009 Easypack has won the
Queens Award for Enterprise
International trade for a
second time.
The firm started trading in
1992 as a specialist UK
manufacturer of cushion
packaging systems which
provide voidfill and product
protection for goods in
transit. All systems produce
packaging that is 100 per
cent recycled and
biodegradable. Easypack
recognised the export
opportunities for its products
early on and confidently
entered the major Western
European Markets, of which
France and Germany account
for 90 per cent of all exports
sales. This success has been
achieved by setting up partowned
Easypack companies
in the main European
markets. Overseas sales
increased by 132 per cent
since 2002. By 2007, over 60
per cent of total production
was sold overseas.
The firm says it plans to
launch complimentary
