Going Dutch helps Goplasticpallets expand range
February 1st 2011 Goplasticpallets.com has signed an
exclusive partnership agreement with
Dutch pallet manufacturer QPALL,
with 13 new plastic pallets
to be introduced to the UK.
Jim Hardisty, managing director
of Goplasticpallets.com, signed
the agreement with Q-PALL
directors Arno Putters and Bjorn
Oosterhof in November in Paris at
the international packaging
exhibition, Emballage 2010, where
Q-PALL launched its new heavyduty
flow-through open deck pallets.
Although Q-PALL is a relatively
new entrant in the plastic pallet
market, the two directors bring a
wealth of industry knowledge to the
company. Q-PALL specialises in
manufacturing open deck flowthrough
pallets and it was the
company's existing heavy duty 1210
pallet that first captured the interest
of Goplasticpallets.com, who
discovered it was the perfect fit for
customers in the flour and
newspaper industries.
The UK agreement encompasses
the original Qpall 1210 pallet range
and the four new
products, which are
available in a number of different
configurations, making 13 pallets in
total.With their open deck flowthrough
design the new pallets
complement Goplasticpallets.com's
existing range of pallets from Belgian
manufacturers IPS and Smart Flow.
The products include:
Qpall 1208 a heavy-duty euro
pallet with a flow-through open
deck, which is available on the
standard three runners, or on a five
runner full perimeter base, unique in
the UK. The pallet measures
1200mm (L) x 800mm (W) and is
available in two different materials,
offering racking limits of either
1000kg or 1250kg.
Qpall 1209 a heavy-duty pallet
popular with the egg industry in
Europe. The 1200mm (L) x 900mm
(W) top deck sits on a 1200mm (L)
x 800mm (W) base, offering a 50mm
wing down either side.
Qpall 1140 a medium duty
1140mm square pallet ideally suited
for transporting loads in shipping
containers. This
pallet is available in three
versions on three runners, on a six
runner full perimeter base and with
an open central section, designed for
bulk discharge. For this reason the
Qpall 1140 pallet is used widely in
the chemical industry.
Qpall 1212 a medium duty
1200mm square pallet for racking
loads of up to 600kg, and available
