Making the case for quality September 1st 2010 Cases for Industry, a division of the
single-source packaging specialist
FDL Packaging Group, has made
an investment in a semi-automatic
pallet machine to significantly
improve its offering to customers.
The company says: "It's no
exaggeration to say that the
machine has revolutionised the
pallet side of the business by
helping the company to
manufacture pallet bases and tops
quicker and more efficiently with
consistent nail pattern, finish and
overall attention to detail.
"The semi-automated machine is
endlessly versatile in its ability to
handle different grades of material,
sizes and dimensions. Not only that
but the machine will achieve a
perfect, consistent finish, adding
chamfered edges and corners to the
timber and tailor-making precisely
to a customer's specifications as
required."
FDL Packaging Group sales
director Dave Scotting adds: "The
objective for us as a company was to
bring our pallet offering up to speed
with our other product ranges in
terms of quality and consistency.We
believe that the standards achieved
by the semi-automatic machine
represent a significant improvement
on the handmade pallet with its
imperfections and weaknesses and
help to establish Cases for Industry
as a major player in specialist pallet
supply." More articles from FDL Packaging Group: |
