Meat market pallet offering beefed up
August 1st 2011 Goplasticpallets.com has launched its
own version of the Euro H1 pallet, the
most widely used pallet in Europe in
the meat sector.
The IPS 1208 Euro H1 is
particularly suited to the meat and fish
industries as the top deck contains a
series of apertures, which allows for
easy drainage should spillages occur.
The pallet is compatible with the
standard European 'E2' stacking
containers and can be used in
temperatures ranging from -30ºC to
+70ºC.
The company says: "The IPS 1208
Euro H1 plastic pallet offers food
suppliers a quick and easy solution
for the dispatch and delivery of large
volume orders. The supplier packs its
meat or fish into the plastic stacking
boxes, which lock into place on the
IPS 1208 Euro H1 pallet to ensure
safety in transportation."
The pallet is manufactured using
food grade virgin HDPE.
When compared to wooden pallets,
the IPS 1208 Euro H1 plastic pallet is
superior for hygiene as cross
contamination issues associated with
loose component parts, nails and
splinters are avoided, and it can be
easily cleaned, manually or with an
