Fast, reliable box strapping

Mail-order company Express Gifts is using equipment from Mosca Direct to ensure fast, reliable strapping of boxes – a particularly critical factor during the busy Christmas period.

With an emphasis on speed and quality of service, Express Gifts required strapping machinery that could match the performance of its packaging line. Over the past three years the company has installed nine Mosca RO-TR strappers for this purpose.

The RO-TR provides accurate strapping at speeds of up to 35 packs per minute. These machines have been customised with onetouch button control for simplicity of use and a purpose built centraliser to cope with a variety of box shapes and sizes.

Use of brushless motor, direct drive technology has minimised the number of moving parts for enhanced performance and increased speeds across a wide range of applications.
