Reusable electronic seals
February 1st 2006 Crypta reuseable electronic seals from Unisto Electronic Seals are suitable for use in severe winter conditions. They have been fully tested by independent test houses to BS2011 standards for being able to withstand the attacks of freezing water, salt and dust that occur when mounted on a vehicle.
Moreover, the seals were extensively tested last winter by companies in Sweden and Monten, Finland's biggest haulier serving the bulk feed sector.
The seals have two key advantages that are particularly important in winter conditions. First, the product is completely sealed and filled with an inert potting compound, unlike mechanical devices, so that nothing can get inside to affect its operation. Second, the seal number is displayed via the integral illuminated display making it very easy to read in dark or dimly lit conditions of winter.
