June 1st 2004 Specialist in strapping technology, Mosca is supplying specialist newspaper strapping machines to Glasgow printing company, Saltire Press.
The Mosca RO-TAI-5 specifically designed for the newspaper industry is an in-line cross-strapping system that delivers publications at up to 40 bundles per minute.
It incorporates Moscas airless, all-electric technology, which eliminates the need for costly compressed air and its related maintenance requirements. The airless system is an extension of Moscas brushless motor, direct drive technology, which has already eliminated the need for a large number of mechanical components to ensure long-term reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
