Mosca's expertise in installing strapping machinery quickly and efficiently has provided CHEP Automotive Europe with high quality strapping of automotive containers without disrupting production at its service centre in Birmingham.

CHEP Automotive Services provides reusable container pooling services. Getting the right containers to the right suppliers worldwide, in the right condition 24/7 means that the company needed a higher performance strapper to work in demanding environments.

Another crucial consideration was that the installation needed to fit around CHEP's ongoing schedule. Having witnessed the successful installation of a Mosca machine in CHEP's facility in Castrop, Germany, projects engineer Mike Harrison recognised that Mosca had the ability to fulfil the application.

"The speed and reliability of Mosca's strapping solutions is matched by the commitment and quality of its service and support," said Harrison. "It only took Mosca a weekend to install its KZV311, after which it continued to perform excellently."

The KZV311 fully automated pallet strapping machine features an extended 50mm frictionweld sealing head for improved seal efficiency.
