Brains dashed to B&B for more keg clamps

B&B Attachments has provided Brains Brewery with Kaup keg clamps as part of a major investment in handling equipment at its Cardiff facility. Brains Brewery purchased the Kaup keg attachments through Linde, Severnside.

A continuation of a long term relationship between the two companies, B&B has provided a total of eight new Kaup keg clamps to the brewery, which together with two previously supplied by B&B, form an integral part of the facility enabling fast and reliable picking, assembly, loading and unloading. According to the company, they were chosen for their excellent visibility and fast reliable operation.

Kaup’s improved keg clamps are equipped with a low profile stabiliser with long lasting rubber pads; wear indicators on tines, strong vision through attachment and end of stroke cushioning on side shift movement. Available in alternative operating ranges, non-side shifting versions and varying tine and stabiliser lengths, the Kaup keg clamps enable a secure grip of kegs and casks as well as easy pallet handling without the removal of the centre tine.
