Shift 500kg in confined spaces
February 1st 2005

The new battery powered PCF6 all-steel burden carrier from Bradshaw Electric Vehicles is designed to shift loads of up to 500kg in confined spaces such as narrow aisles and lifts.

Highly manoeuvrable, the pedestrian controlled four wheeled vehicle measures just 1200 by 700mm. It can be specified with a flat bed, cage body or with a bespoke load carrying area to match customer needs.

Adrian Woodward, sales director at Bradshaw explains: 'The all-new PCF6 is an addition to our wide range of highly compact pedestrian controlled load movers which includes other burden carriers and small tow tractors.

‘They make light work of load movement tasks, which would otherwise require much greater labour input or extra handling to conform to Health and Safety standards.’ The PCF6 has a high specification which includes features for safety and low maintenance, including maintenance-free 24 volt battery system and electric motor, mains battery charging, regenerative braking and electromagnetic park-braking, which allows safe and easy manoeuvring on slopes. The light tiller steering means that all functions, including variable speed, are under fingertip control.

Numerous tyre options include foam-filled, nonmarking or pneumatic.
