Wave away picking concerns

Investment in five new Crown WAVE work assist vehicles has recently coincided with a move to new, larger premises for telecoms and data distribution specialists, Nimans.

In looking to improve both workplace safety and productivity when relocating to the new warehouse facility, Nimans distribution manager Chris Musgrave initially had some WAVE trucks on trial at Salford.

He soon realised that the trucks would not only resolve health and safety concerns � but also speed daily picking and despatch routines. This is furthered by equipping three of the five WAVE�s purchased with extended upper loading trays.
