Door operator increases efficiency October 1st 2004 Crawford Amber has introduced a new door operator for installation in loading bays, warehouses and other door access areas where efficient logistic flow is critical.
With a range of remote access control options, the new CDM 9 door operator automatically opens doors without the need for the vehicle driver to leave his cab – saving time, increasing efficiency and improving safety. Benefits to both working environment and efficiency levels are reported to provide rapid payback on investment.
Said to be extremely smooth running, the CDM 9 has slow start up and stop movements, providing increased operational life by reducing wear and tear on the door.
Automated opening of bigger doors is made easy and potential health and safety risks associated with manual lifting are reduced.
Automated door operation also helps to reduce energy costs by limiting the time the door is open to an absolute minimum.
A series of safety devices for stopping, reversing, locking, monitoring and controlled operating ensures high safety levels when the door is in use. Optional installation of warning or traffic light systems can further improve the safety of vehicle access and prevent damage to vehicles and property.
With security an increasing issue in warehouse and other loading bay operations, the range of access limitation features offered by Crawford Amber gives users several options for low level to high level entry restrictions to suit their particular needs.
Crawford Amber also offers the MobiOpener, which creates full access control by using a mobile phone and internet administration. More articles from Cardo Entrance Solutions AB: |
