New standards for industrial doors April 1st 2004 Crawford Amber is drawing attention to a new harmonised European standard that will effect the design of industrial doors.
The companys sales and marketing director, Dave Lewis said: The forthcoming standards demand greater levels of safety, including the elimination of protruding parts and protection against finger pinching and the risk of overhead doors accidentally closing. Although we are still waiting for a definite deadline for the change, it will not be long before all industrial doors purchased in the UK have to meet these new requirements.
Our own 242 and 542 series of sectional overhead doors are among the few that already offer full compliance, so customers can benefit immediately from the safety improvements. More articles from Cardo Entrance Solutions AB: |
